Jodi Clarke

Jodi is a clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience working in the public and private sectors providing psychological care to clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, addictions, adjustment problems and major health conditions. Jodi is committed to supporting adults and young people to embrace change, overcome blocks and fulfil their potential.

Jodi has a strong interest in health psychology, and she has had the unique experience of supporting the psychological wellbeing of people who have had life changing health conditions such as lung cancer and heart failure.

Jodie works collaboratively bringing a warm, thoughtful, and client-centred approach to her therapy using evidence-based methods such as cognitive behavioural therapy, cognitive processing therapy and motivational interviewing. Jodi believes that keeping up-to-date with research is essential to her profession. She has been involved in writing a number of publications (see below).

Jodi also considers the systemic view of mental health and has held roles at the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation. Whilst working for the APS, she worked on submissions made to the Productivity Commission Inquiry into mental health and suicide prevention and the Victorian Royal Commission into Mental Health.
