Genevieve Dorman

Genevieve is a registered Psychologist with a Master of Applied Psychology (Clinical) from Victoria University. She brings a strong foundation in evidence-based therapies and provides trauma-informed treatment. 

Genevieve has developed her clinical skills across diverse settings, including primary schools, university psychology clinics, and hospital-based rehabilitation programs. She has clinical and research interests in trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and neurodiversity. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a range of mental health concerns, including complex trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, neurodiversity, chronic illness, pain, and adjustment to life transitions. 

Genevieve is passionate about helping individuals feel safe, empowered, and understood as they work through difficult life experiences. Her therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidenced-based treatments such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT). 

Genevieve is committed to creating a respectful, compassionate space where clients feel heard and supported in moving toward meaningful and lasting change.
