Who can refer?

Referrals can be made by the individual, General Practitioner (GP), Psychiatrist, other healthcare professionals, NDIS Support Coordinators, or Case Managers.
At the Centre for Clinical Psychology we welcome a range of referrals including Medicare, private health, Transport Accident Commision (TAC), WorkCover, Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) & many other third parties.
We have a large team of clinical psychologists who are available Monday to Saturday. We are located in the heart of Melbourne’s Lygon Street, Carlton, and are accessible by car, bike and public transport.
We can assist inner-city Melbourne residents struggling with trauma, anxiety & depression, and new parents.
We also offer telehealth services to people who live further afield.  We work with adults aged 18 years and over.

For General Practitioners - Medicare Plans

The Australian Government has a number of provisions for Medicare-subsidised psychological services. Below are the care plans that we accept at the Centre for Clinical Psychology:
Mental Health Treatment Plans – eligible patients can receive Medicare rebates for up to 10 individual psychological treatment services in a calendar year.
Chronic Disease Management Plan – eligible patients can receive Medicare rebates for up to 5 individual psychological treatment services in a calendar year. The individual will need a GP Management Plan (GPMP) in place.
