Mandy Lee
Mandy is a registered Clinical Psychologist who is motivated and committed to working with clients from diverse groups across varied mental health presentations. Mandy comes from a background of working with individuals in the assessment and treatment of mental health disorders at community mental health services. Mandy has a special interest in working with individuals with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and some substance use. She has experience working with clients from Workcover, police members, Department of Veterans’ Affairs, and Corrections.
Mandy primarily works in treatment based on cognitive theory. This includes evidence-based therapies of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy that treats anxiety, depression, ADHD, and some substance use, and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD.
Mandy utilizes a biopsychosocial framework which considers biological, psychological, and sociocultural factors in assessment and formulation of a treatment plan with clients. In the therapeutic relationship, Mandy values forming a shared understanding and open communication in the rapport with clients.
