Letty’s special areas of interest include assessment and treatment of complex trauma, couples/relationship dynamics and problems, as well as psychiatric and personality disorders. Letty trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD and EMDR.
Letty is a clinical psychologist with more than ten years of clinical experience working with adults, couples, families, children and adolescents. She has a depth of clinical experience from various settings, having worked as a psychologist in universities, public and private hospitals, community health organisations, schools, international, not-for-profit and private organisations. She currently works as a senior clinical psychologist in a mental health setting
Letty brings a warm, thoughtful, collaborative and client-centred approach to her therapy. She also ensures that she provides and continues to work on enhancing her skills in delivering solid evidence-based therapies for her clients.
Letty has assisted clients with trauma, relationship problems, mood issues (depression, bipolar), anxiety, adjustment difficulties, chronic pain and illness, identity and existential angst, suicide risk and self-harm, selective mutism, behavioural issues, addiction, work-life crisis, autism spectrum disorder, psychiatric and personality disorders, LGBTIQ issues and eating disorders.
